It’s starting to get a little cooler in Australia and it’s around this time of year that you start to imagine yourself sprawled out on a beautiful, warm beach sipping cocktails or swimming in crystal clear blue waters. Well, who are we to ignore our natural instincts? So, I thought we’d take a look at three fantastic luxury island getaways. Why Luxury? Why not!
Hamilton Island
If you’re looking to keep it local, head to the Whitsundays. People from overseas dream of visiting the Whitsundays one day and we’re lucky enough to have access to it whenever we like.
Stay at the fantastic Whitsunday Apartments, with stunning ocean views of the Coral Sea, direct beach access, swimming pool and outdoor spa surrounded by tropical trees. You can spend your days soaking in the warm Whitsundays sun or enjoy a ride on a catamaran or hire paddle skis, windsurfers and snorkelling equipment.
Packages can include accommodation, return airfares, airport/hotel transfers, wifi and a shuttle service. It also includes a full-day Great Barrier Reef Adventure with Cruise Whitsundays and a half-day adventure with Cruise Whitsundays to Whitehaven Beach and the Whitsunday Islands National Park.

Bali
The Anantara Seminyak Resort and Spa is located in my favourite place to stay in Bali. Seminyak is close enough to the hustle and bustle of Kuta to enjoy it but far enough away that you can unwind and forget where you are in the world too.
The resort is situated right on the beachfront and has beautiful, spacious rooms that are designed with a certain Balinese luxury that make you feel special. There are also two infinity-edge pools overlooking the Indian Ocean where you can spend your days swimming, reading and eating.
Packages can include accommodation, buffet breakfasts, return airfares, dinner and a cultural tour to Ubud.

Fiji
For an island getaway in the South Pacific, head to Fiji’s Sheraton Resort. The picture-perfect resort on Denarau Island is perfect for families. Each room is spacious with a balcony or patio and a view of the tropical gardens or ocean.
If the perfectly clear blue ocean waters aren’t enough for you, try one of the 6 swimming pools across Sheraton and Westin Resorts on the island. There’s a lawn bowling green, fitness centre, boat transfer to beautiful Akuilau Island and water sports galore including snorkelling, hobicats, jet skiing, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking and deep-sea fishing.
Packages can include accommodation in an ocean view room, return airfares, transfers, full buffet breakfast, full-day cruises, wine, food and spa hotel credits and unlimited golf.
