3. Rose Street Artists’ Market

6. St Kilda Esplanade Market
Held every Sunday along the palm-lined Esplanade, this market has been running since the 1970s. It’s great for art, handmade goods and gifts, with views of the beach and a laid-back atmosphere. Perfect for a Sunday stroll before grabbing fish and chips by the sea.

7. Abbotsford Farmers Market
Set on the grounds of the Collingwood Children’s Farm, this wholesome weekend market is ideal for picking up organic produce, baked goods, honey, flowers and more. The vibe is relaxed and community-focused, and there’s plenty of space to wander with a coffee in hand.
8. Gasworks Farmers Market
Held on the third Saturday of each month, this market is set within a leafy arts precinct in Albert Park. You’ll find a strong line-up of ethical growers and makers selling seasonal fruit and veg, meats, cheeses and gourmet pantry staples. It’s dog-friendly and a lovely local outing.

9. Grazeland

The Fitzroy Market has been running for 8 years and is known for its awesome atmosphere and friendly vibe. Epic markets don’t get much bigger than the incredible Finders Keepers markets, a massive three-day event showcasing over 250 independent art and design stalls. The market takes place in the stunning Royal Exhibition Building in the Carlton Gardens with talented locals from Melbourne and beyond sharing their works. You can pick up incredible jewellery, clothing, artworks, homewares and more things than I can possibly think to describe. There’s also live music and great food.
