21 Awesome things to do (and avoid) in Beijing  The Gate of Heavenly Peace

“And then there is the most dangerous risk of all – The risk of spending your life not doing what you want on the bet you can buy yourself the freedom to do it later.” – Randy Komisar.

These words define my approach to life and the changes I’ve made to live a life I love. No more waiting, no more holding back or thinking, ‘I can’t do that’. Life is made for living and each and every single day should be spent doing things that set a spark in your soul.

I’m Phoebe, a writer and travel lover from Australia and this is a look at my selfie adventure through China. A country rich in natural beauty, wonderful people and delicious food. A country I had been waiting to see and savoured every moment of experiencing.

A good friend and blogger I know, Juliet of Lace n Ruffles, contacted me recently to tell me about an awesome video competition being run by Cover More Travel Insurance. The brief was simply to create a video, a selfie adventure.

All Matt and I needed to do was upload a 2 minute video to YouTube and share our selfie adventure with the world. The prize? A whopping $10k Travel Adventure, GoPro Hero 4 Camera and a selfie stick. Yes, yes and yes!!

So, here’s our entry for the Ultimate Traveller Video Competition by Cover More Travel Insurance.

If you like our video, please CLICK HERE to give it a 5-star rating. It helps our chances to win this awesome prize! Thank you.
