All the other bloggers out there will know that writing your own blog isn’t just a silly little hobby, it’s much more than that. Your blog becomes something you work hard on, constantly think of new ideas for and hope that readers will enjoy.
I wanted to share with everyone a few of the blogs that I love to visit. There is a big variation in the blogs that I regularly check; some are funny, quirky, inspirational or cool and others I just really enjoy reading.
So here’s the rundown of littlegreybox’s favourite blogs, hyper-linked for your viewing ease and pleasure.
Quince and Mulberry Studios - an absolutely beautiful photography blog run by exceptionally talented photographer Kate Parker.
I love visiting her site and sifting through all of the amazing photographs she has taken. Her photos always seem to capture more than just an image, they have the ability to grab an entire moment including the sounds, smell and feeling and hold them there in front of you.
Grumblings From a Greedy Girl - is a fantastically hilarious blog dedicated to all things food, written by Amy Berman.
Amy’s food reviews never fail to find the best that London has to offer and not just the mainstream spots, but the super cool and very edgy London hot spots. Not only this but she manages to keep me in stitches the whole time I read her posts.
The Cornucopia - one of the coolest fashion and lifestyle blogs on the scene.
The blog covers all manner of things including great fashion and beauty trends, thoughts and ideas. Not only this but it looks at fashion as art and a form of self-expression. I love this blog just as much as I love any guilty pleasure to do with all things girly and beautiful because it is indulgent, informative and relatable.
London Lamington- written by one of my fellow Australians living in London, this newly started blog hosts a great mix of all things Aussie and all things British.
I absolutely adore the amazing photos that go with the articles, I could easily tear through the screen and grab some of the yummy food in them! This blog is fantastic for eating, cooking and culture in London it gives you some great tips on places to eat and cool things happening here.
It’s Not Just Me, Right? - a hilarious blog featuring the very funny and true stories, thoughts and ideas of a devoted mother and wife.
Even if, like me, you don’t have a husband and kids you won’t be able to help laughing at the stories she tells. Another new blog, I’ve really been enjoying seeing her new posts come through and watching her blog grow with her open and funny writing style.
25 To Fly – I love this blog because I can completely relate to her posts and they are always funny.
Becca has a fantastic writing style which is so easy to read and relate to and when I read her posts it’s like I can hear what she’s saying even though I’ve never met her! That’s pretty impressive if you ask me.
The Cats in the Belfry - this blog has a great, unique layout as well as very funny posts and, most importantly, loads of pictures of cats which crack me up.
If you’ve read my posts you’ll know that I love cats… a lot… and so does this blogger. the captions that go along with the photos are brilliant, they’re very funny, witty and completely entertaining.
High, High, Higher – a brilliant lifestyle blog that takes a look at everyday things and makes them lighthearted, funny and entertaining.
This blog is fantastic reading for when you need a laugh, I love the different way of looking at regular things and turning them into something fun and easy to read and full of laughter which is most likely why it was recently Freshly Pressed. Congratulations!
A Traves del Universo - this blog is absolutely beautiful, the photos that are on it are so inspiring.
I love to sit and my desk at work and look at this blog, it makes me want to give up my life and travel the world with a camera. They are all incredible and for the travelers out there, prepare to get itchy feet – this is one of my favourites.
Heather & Fred’s Excellent Adventure - another fantastic travel blog for all the adventurers out there.
It’s great to read about where they are in the world and also, as one of the two people in my long-term relationship, it’s very cool for me to see another couple out there travelling together and loving life. It just proves that travel isn’t just about wet t-shirt comps on a Contiki bus.
If you have any of your favourite blogs (including your own) that you’d like to share, please let me know – I’d love to read them!
